Recently Axel has been trying to ‘cuddle’ more. He is growing at a rapid rate and is in a bit of awkward adolescent, teen like phase and still learning and defining himself. His new morning habit has been to ‘try’ to cuddle within the parameters of not being allowed on the bed. So he places half his body across me, feet still on the floor (thus complying ‘sort of’ with the rules of not being allowed on the bed) and he places his head in my lap as I have my coffee and looks at me with his big puppy dog eyes. Although, a) he is interrupting coffee time and b) pushing the boundaries of the ‘not on the bed’ rule….. How can I say no that sweet look and his morning loves……
